Moving forward, my hope is that parents will utilize the resources I have curated and feel empowered in finding credible sources for themselves. For example, I would suggest that parents who are searching for information not contained in this resource library use some of the steps I did, such as taking note of the credentials or level of experience of the individual(s) who authored the information. Parents should feel empowered to know that when they are struggling with issues related to parenting, there is a community of supporters available. I know that my 85 resources are only the tip of the iceberg of the many parenting resources out there, and it’s likely that parents will continue to search for things that work for their individual families. Parents should also know that finding resources that are educational or supportive in any way is worth the time. I anticipate that I may make updates or additions to this resource library in the future as I find additional resources and receive feedback from users.

Another hope of mine is that parents will realize that they are not alone in their questions, concerns, or struggles. Being a parent can be SO hard, and the Instagram community can be a source of support. I do want to include a word of caution... there can be a lot of toxic pages out there that make parents feel isolated. Parents should focus on the pages they find that uplift and make them feel supported and promptly unfollow the pages that do not.

I have gained so much from the experience of putting together this resource library for parents and caregivers. These topics are close to my heart and I have appreciated having the time to learn and explore each of them a little bit more. There are so many useful resources out there and I am looking forward to continuing to educate myself on these topics and more. Parenting is hard work but having support and good resources can make it a little easier and a lot more fun.
