Preparing for birth has as much of a need for physical preparation as it does mental preparation. However, there aren’t many resources that focus on the mental preparation side, so the resources I included are mainly physical. The mental piece is an important part of the work that doulas do, some of which can be found in my sub-theme of education. The physical side of preparing your body for birth can include exercising and pelvic floor physical therapy which are both essential in the postpartum period as well.
