Developmental Milestones

Developmental milestones are another area in infancy that may be a significant stressor for parents. From my experience, a lot of this stress comes from the comparison of your baby to their older siblings or another child. Each child develops on their own trajectory and timeline, and it is not very common that they end up needing early intervention. However, it is vital to trust your gut parenting instincts. If you feel like something is off or they are really behind, reach out to your pediatrician or other healthcare professional to get screened for early intervention.
